Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Pharmacy, C.B.D., Belapur, Navi Mumbai celebrated its annual function SPANDAN-2015. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Pharmacy established in 1993 has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The college conducts B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Doctoral courses.

Mr. Sanjeev Pendharkar, Director, Vicco Laboratories, who was the Chief Guest of the function; while addressing to the students said in his speech that unless there is a killer instinct to become entrepreneur and to become rich, the students will not voluntarily take risks in life to become successful businessmen. They should be passionate about it. For this purpose, they should set up their goals short term as well as long term. The emotional intelligent quotient is important to have good communication skills and delegation skills. All these skills including listening skills are not taught in the curriculum of pharmacy and therefore students should take efforts to develop these skills.

The prize distribution ceremony was arranged to encourage and motivate diploma, under graduate and post graduate students. The Principal of college Dr. Vilasrao Kadam guided all the students and gave them clues regarding how to become successful in life. Vice-Principal Dr. K.R. Jadhav was also present and took initiative to make the event a grand success.

The things which should matter most should not be at the mercy of things which matter least, said Mr. Sanjeev Pendharkar while interacting with students. He further said it is possible to build great things and that the only limit is your imagination and ability to execute – nothing else matters.

Being an entrepreneur is not about love at first sight; it’s about having an idea that intrigues you and increasingly pulls you in until you can no longer ignore it.
